Abstract

The Qur'anic Perspective Synectic Learning model is a learning model designed and constructed to enhance and develop students' spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social creativity. The development and improvement are carried out through a series of activities in the form of optimizing the function of all potentials possessed, especially hearing, vision, and heart, guided by the principles and instructions of the Qur'an. The implementation of the learning model is carried out using two strategies, The first, namely combining every element that at first glance seems unrelated. The second, making analogies to find something or new meaning and make something foreign familiar. This conclusion is obtained through analisiys of the results Synectic Learning model and Progressivism philosophy theory. John Dewey believes that Progressivism is a school of educational philosophy that is forward-looking and positions students as one of the academic subjects with provisions and potential in their self-development and can solve various problems. This philosophy also holds that every human being, through multiple experiences, always wants change, development, and improvement. interpreting Qur'anic verses, especially Sura al-Nahi verses78 and Ali Imran verses 190 to 195 on Ulu al-Albâb and the theoretical approach of progressivism philosophy. In the view of Ibn Kathir, Sayyid Qutbh, and Quraish Shihab, Ulu al-Albâb, with all its characteristics, has inspired an ideal figure that should be born as a product of a learning process
