Authorship Criteria
Authorship Criteria
MISYKAT: Jurnal Ilmu-ilmu Al-Qur'an, Hadist, Syariah dan Tarbiyah follows the authorship recommendations of the ICMJE and COPE. A person should be listed as an author only if they meet all of the following:
- Made a substantial contribution to the conception or design of the work, or to the collection, analysis, or interpretation of data or sources;
- Drafted the article or revised it critically for important intellectual content;
- Approved the final version to be published; and
- Agreed to be accountable for all aspects of the work, including its accuracy and integrity.
Corresponding Author
The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal during submission, review, and publication, and must ensure that all co-authors have approved the manuscript and agree to its submission.
Contributors and Changes in Authorship
Contributors who do not meet all criteria (e.g. providing technical help, language editing, or general supervision) should be acknowledged in the Acknowledgements section. Gift, guest, and ghost authorship are not permitted. Any addition, removal, or reordering of authors after submission requires a written request signed by all authors and approval by the editor. AI tools cannot be listed as authors (see AI Policy).
