Plagiarism Policy

MISYKAT: Jurnal Ilmu-ilmu Al-Qur'an, Hadist, Syariah dan Tarbiyah does not tolerate plagiarism in any form. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity using plagiarism-detection software (e.g. Turnitin) before peer review.

Similarity Threshold

• Manuscripts with an overall similarity index of more than 20% (excluding bibliography and quotations of the Qur'an and Hadith) are returned to the author for revision or rejected.
• Similarity from any single source should not exceed 5%.

Forms of Plagiarism

• Copying another person's work, words, or ideas without proper citation;
• Self-plagiarism (re-using one's own published work without citation) and duplicate or redundant publication;
• Paraphrasing another's work without attribution;
• Translating another's work into another language and presenting it as original.

Actions

If plagiarism is detected before publication, the manuscript will be rejected. If detected after publication, the article will be retracted in accordance with our Correction and Retraction Policy, and the author's institution may be notified. See also Publication Ethics.
