REKONSTRUKSI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI ERA MODERN
Abstract
Minat peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di masa modern kian hari ini semakin menurun. Hal ini berdampak pada pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam, dampaknya antara lain di sekolah pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam menjadi bidang studi yang paling tidak popular dikalangan peserta didik dan peserta didik menjadi kurang tertarik sekaligus menjadi kurang religius.
Meskipun secara kuantitatif hasil (nilai) pendidikan agama sudah berhasil baik namun secara kualitatif hasilnya belum sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan. Penyebabnya antara lain model pembelajaran agama yang masih cenderung tradisionalis, konservatif dan dogmatis.
Untuk itu diperlukan upaya-upaya perbaikan yang harus disesuaikan dengan perkembangan modern yang mampu membawa semangat dan konsep baru sehingga menghasilkan tujuan yang diinginkan sesuai tuntutan modern sekarang ini dengan cara rekonstruksi model pembelajaran.
