FENOMENA DAN IDENTITAS CADAR
Memahami Cadar dalam Kajian Sejarah, Al-Qur’an, Hadis, dan Ijma’
Abstract
The veil is a problematic reality and has become a hot topic of discussion, especially in the Indonesian context. The dispute is not far from dwelling on the identity level of the veil as a culture or Islamic religious law. The case did not end in ideological disputes, in some cases even into social disputes, such as the stigma of society about the veil being identified in a certain Islamic movement/group, the veil as a pure Islamic phenomenon, the veil as an Arab cultural identity, and even part of the identity of the Muslim community. other religious cultures (besides Islam). Then the study of the veil in various perspectives becomes urgent as an effort to emphasize the status of the veil in relation to cultural and religious identity. So that the true identity will be found and resolve various disputes which are generally caused by differences in perspective and understanding of the veil.
