Fenomena Tingginya Angka Cerai Gugat Di Jakarta Timur dan Solusinya
Abstract
This research is motivated by the high divorce rate in East Jakarta. We assume that economic factors are the most dominant factor in increasing the high divorce rate. And actually every human being who builds a household wants a happy and harmonious family. No married couple expects their household to end in divorce, because all religions also view that divorce is something that is not good for the relationship between two married families after divorce and the impact on the future of their children. Through this research, we want to know the phenomenon that occurs regarding the high divorce rate in East Jakarta and what solutions we can offer to reduce this number. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an empirical legal approach. The results of this study indicate domestic disputes, leaving a partner, apostasy or leaving Islam, economic factors, and domestic violence are the dominant factors for this high number. And the solution that we describe there are 3 things; the importance of choosing a partner with a good religious basis, always close to the ulama, and continuing to study in navigating a household full of challenges and temptations.
