Abstract

This study aims to examine the interaction of santri at the at-Taubah Islamic Boarding School in Class II B Penitentiary with the Qur'an in the form of riyadhah. This study uses descriptive analytical research methods that are qualitative with the living qur'an model, through sociological, phenomenological and psychological approaches. This article proves that the santri of the at-Taubah Lapas Islamic Boarding School in Cianjur understand the uses and functions of the Qur'anic verses used in riyadhah activities in their context as prayers.
